Political system is A constitutional monarchy is a form of government in which a constitution restricts a monarch's power. In countries with a similar form of government, executive power belongs to the government, the cabinet of ministers, and legislative - to the parliament. A representative democracy is a system where citizens of a country vote for government representatives to handle legislation and ruling the country on their behalf.

In countries with a similar form of government, executive power belongs to the government, the cabinet of ministers, and legislative - to the parliament.

A representative democracy is a system where citizens of a country vote for government representatives to handle legislation and ruling the country on their behalf.

The legislative branch   In Britain the Queen is the Head of State. The most important function of the Queen is ceremonial. The Queen is the symbol of history and traditions. Now the Queen of Great Britain is Elizabeth II. The legislative branch is made up of representatives elected to Congress. The main function of the Senate and the House of Representatives is to make laws.
