Внеклассная разработка по английскому языку на тему "Halloween"

Цель: Развитие коммуникативных навыков путем использования различных игр и получении информации об празднике «Хэллоуин».

Ход мероприятия

Ведущие начинают праздник:

1: Welcome to our party, dear kids!

2: Today we celebrate Halloween!

1: Halloween is a great holiday for children and adults!

2: We all have a wonderful time celebrating the fun holiday! Are you ready?

1: But, first of all, what do you know about this holiday? (см. Презентация)

We celebrate Halloween every year on October 31st. Where does the holiday come from? The holiday originally comes from a people called the Celts. The Celts lived in Europe more than 2000 years ago. On November 1st they celebrated the end of summer. They thought ghosts visited the living on October 31st. They dressed up like ghosts so the spirits would not harm them. Today, many countries still remember the dead on November 1st. It is called All Saints Day. Another name for it is All Hallow’s Day. The day before, October 31st, is called All Hallow’s Eve, or Halloween for short. Halloween is an old tradition in Ireland and Scotland. In those countries, people dressed up and carried lanterns made of turnips. When people moved from Ireland and Scotland to the United States, they started using pumpkins. This is where the jack-o’-lantern comes from. They also had a tradition of giving food to the spirits. Later, they gave the food to poor people. This is where trick-or-treating comes from. Halloween has changed a lot since its origins. New people have brought new traditions, and changed the old ones.

2: Today we will devote you toevil spirits. And now, we must divide into two teams. This team is «BAT»! And this team is «RAT»! (команды представляют себя)

1: And now we have the first game is cold «Halloween Words».

1 game: «HalloweenWords»

На плакате написано слово «Halloween». Команды должны назвать все буквы, а затем назвать как можно больше слов, состоящих из букв, которые есть в слове Halloween. For example: hall, all, new, hello, owl, well, one, on, law, low.

Оборудование:

1. Вывеска «Welcome to the Halloween party!»;

2. Стенгазета «Halloween»с большой нарисованной тыквой;

3. Табло и фишки для игры «Tic-Toc-Toy»;

4. Два скелета, вырезанных из плотной бумаги для игры «Skeleton Fun»;

6. Два приведения, вырезанные из тонкой бумаги для игры «Blow the Ghost»;

Минимум 10 слов

2 game: «Blow the Ghost»

Вырезаются привидения из тонкой бумаги. Привидения лежат на полу перед каждой командой. Необходимо передвинуть привидение в сторону обозначенной линии, помахивая, как веером листком плотной бумаги. Привидение как бы летит, подгоняемое ветерком от ваших движений.

3 Game: «Make up and costumes»

4 Game: «Magicspell»

Появляется ведьма. Она что-то замешивает в своем котле, повторяя слова добавляя нарисованные или игрушечные «ингредиенты» в котёл:

Разобрать картинки животных по рецепту ведьмы.

5 Game: Puzzle -findwords

1: Today you are so smart and active that we can devote you toevil spirits! And we have some gifts for you! And now you can make your own skeleton and pumpkin yourselves.

6 Game: «Skeleton Fun», «Pumpkin Fun»

Игрокам двух команд дается задание собрать скелет из «костей»и «тыковку».

И в конце праздника поют песню: Angels- Morandi
